Shadow Shot Sunday : Lettuce

Hi there!

This gorgeous, yummy lettuce is... uh scratch that... WAS from our garden.  Tasty stuff.  There's nothing like fresh veggies picked right before dinner.

So... lettuce cut out this chit chat and head on over to  Hey Harriets for Shadow Shot Sunday.

Sorry... I tried hard to control myself by NOT using any lettucy puns, but I just couldn't help myself.

Ok, I didn't try THAT hard, hee hee.

Haha! I loved your lettucy pun! And I agree with you about how nice fresh veggies from the garden are! Your crop looks super! Have a great week and thank you so much for your kind words about my little interview! xo

That every grocery store and fruit/vegetable stand could have lettuce as gorgeous as yours....all ruffly, luscious green and FRESH! It must have tasted delicious!

Yer Funny Esther! That lettuce looks really yummy. I do not have a green thumb AT ALL! Plus it is very hard to grow anything here because there is so much clay in the ground! (That's my excuse and I'm stickin with it!):)
Hugs and blessings for your week!

Very pretty, love your pictures. I also love fresh greens from the garden. Kelly - When i lived in a small townhouse with no garden (all pavers) I grew a nice selection of greens and herbs in big pots.

Ok, i feel WAY better now about my lame "leaf" joke in a later comment.... These are great photos. I love the dark dirt contrasted with the bright green lettuce. I'm jealous I missed out on the salad tho!!
