Hey there. Here's my shadow shots for this weeks shadow shot sunday. I just loved the details on this building in Pasadena, Ca. They have so many amazing old buildings around there. The carved details and shadows on this wonderful capital stood out to me, so of course, I had to take some photos.

Oh I love the details too! Sometimes when I go for my art walks I will stare at all the beautiful detail on some buildings. I could look at them for hours! I also love finding new manholes with artistic covers!
Great shots, captured beautifully!
ohhh...how we love architectural pieces! this is fabulous! It's amazing what people miss keeping their eyes on the ground - looking up and around - there is so much that you'd miss if you didn't!!
Have a super week Esther!

The architectural details are so lovely! The shadows are great as well!
A beautiful old building! And you found lovely shadows decorating it! I just love the details that can be found on the older buildings. Modern architecture, while flash in may ways, lacks character. lacks soul. But who knows, maybe our current buildings of today will look more interesting to people viewing them 100s of years down the track! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead :)
Beautiful photos ! Shadows are so gorgeous this time of year ...
Nice!
Lovely details!
Very good!
Beautiful! I LOVE Pasadena, although I haven't been there in so long - your shots here are so cool - and thank you for your sweet words - they mean so much, xoxox
NOW THAT'S THE SORT OF DETAILING ON A BUILDING THAT I LOVE TO DRAW.....and photograph! Great lighting....that would make a wonderful abstract design...if drawn close up on a page!
Inspiration is all around us!
Oh...I loved your textured card too, btw! I need to get busy here in the studio and work on something watercoloured for today!
Ciao bella!
