Here are my shadow shots for this week. I've been struggling with whether or not to use these photos for this week. I like them, but wasn't sure if they were too simple...or something... but there's just something about that top one that grabs me. But then I think...no, it's boring.....BUT I keep coming back to it...
In the end, as you can see, it won.
To join in the shadowy fun, pop on over to Hey Harriet for more Shadow Shot Sunday.

I like it. I recognize your hesitation, I often have that myself with 'simple' shots of things that are not in themselves extraordinary... And yet somehow they make wonderful photos with the right light and shadows or reflections.
It's perfect!
I, myself, love simplicity, and I think this photo is great.
I lke both shadows - especially the second.
Hope you're having a great weekend!
I agree with the others. Perfect!
I think they're great and I love taking photos with swirls in them that are around New Orleans...Yours are fascinating!!!
XO
Good choice--they are most interesting. You sound like a busy (and very creative person). Such fun to be able to stay at home and still do things you love to do.
Esther, I always enjoy your shadow shots! I am inspired by this one to do a decorative doodle.
I want to thank you for your suggestions for my goddess. She has been such a challenge! I will definately create more folds and develope the shading in her dress like you suggested. Still not sure what else I want to do with her hair and background but since I can't juggle that huge canvas right now I have a little more time to think on it, LOL!
Boring? Are you kidding? These are great and often the more simple style shadow shots are the best. Well, simple ones appeal to me anyway! I love the top one! I'm glad you decided to share them. Good decision! Have a great week :)
It is a nice picture. It's a form of art and self expression which you did well. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a sweet comment.

Hi Esther. You were the winner of my OWOH giveaway. Please go to my post and email me to tell me which giveaway you would like and also include your address. I am flexible on the bracelet designs and the plastic thingies.
I love 'em. My art teacher in school always told us students to look for the simplicity in all dimensions...which makes for great art! You, dear one, found the perfect photos for shadows!!
NESTING HERON at paradise ponds in today's post.

BTW, I want to go to Zinnea (?) in pasadena - did you know they teach classes there? I noticed that Kelly Kilmer is teaching a small class next month - anyway, have you ever been inside or taken a class there? xoxoxo
It is gorgeous. Love the shadows and warm golden tones. Perfectly shot.
How have ya been? Thanks for all the sweet comments on my blog. I am finally working on my first canvas for the texture town class. You gotta love a e-course that gives you all the time you need to complete it. It was good hearing from you!!
Love the shadow shots! I also really enjoyed the post about being brave and listening. It is something that I am pushing myself to do this year.
